Privacy Notice
Athletic Therapy Center (“ATC”, “we”) respects your privacy and complies with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
What we collect
Your name, mobile number, a short description of your concern (which may include health information — sensitive personal information under RA 10173), your preferred callback time, and, for paid consults, payment details: the payment screenshot and reference number you upload (InstaPay QR payments) or payment reference details from our payment processor. We do not receive or store your GCash, Maya, bank or card credentials. Payment screenshots are stored privately and are visible only to authorized staff for payment verification.
Why we collect it
- To place you in our consultation queue and contact you about your inquiry;
- To provide the online physical therapy consultation you requested;
- To confirm payment and keep required business and tax records.
Legal basis
Your consent, given by ticking the consent box, and the provision of health services you requested. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to records we are required by law to keep.
Sharing
Only with authorized ATC staff and the Doctor, and with service providers needed to deliver the service: PayMongo (payment processing), Zoom (video calls) and our hosting provider, each bound to protect your data. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising without separate consent.
Retention & security
Inquiry data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above (and as required for medical/business records), then securely deleted. Access is password-protected and limited to authorized personnel.
SMS updates & promos (optional)
If you tick the SMS box on our website or booking forms, we use your name, mobile number and (if given) your concern to send occasional health tips, clinic updates and promos by text. This is separate from, and not required for, your consult. Texts are sent through our SMS provider (Semaphore). We record when you agreed and the exact wording you agreed to. Booking or joining the line without ticking the box does not sign you up.
To stop: reply STOP to any of our texts, enter your number at askangrydoc.com/optout, or ask our team. We will stop marketing texts to that number promptly. Messages about a consult you booked may still be sent.
Your rights
You have the right to be informed, to access, correct, object to processing, erase or block your data, data portability, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
